GetYourGuide reaches profitability and nears €1 billion in revenue

GetYourGuide, the Berlin-based platform connecting travelers with guided experiences worldwide, has reached profitability on an adjusted EBITDA basis, with revenue approaching €1 billion over the past 12 months. The result points to strong demand for curated travel experiences and the scalability of the company’s business model.

For 16 years, GetYourGuide has worked to make experiences central to travel. “When we started GetYourGuide, experiences were completely overlooked,” the company’s leadership recalls. “I’d spend 10 minutes explaining what we do, only to receive puzzled looks: ‘You’re selling tours? Tickets? Sounds hard. Sounds small.”

The past year has shown how much this has changed. In Q3 2025 alone, GetYourGuide reported a 30% year-over-year increase in gross merchandise value (GMV) and 10 million booked experiences, setting new records.

The company credits its growth to the human side of travel. In an era dominated by AI, the quality of guides remains the top predictor of memorable experiences.
