Together with the TOP 100 presenting partner Credit Suisse, Venturelab hosted a startup pitch event to matchmake TOP 100 startups with investors from the Credit Suisse Investor Club.
On October 6, Credit Suisse and TOP 100 hosted a breakfast at the Beau Rivage Palace in Lausanne to connect startups and investors. Six startups that were among the TOP 100 Swiss startups 2020 pitched to the members of the Credit Suisse Private Investors Club to forge key connections and explore business opportunities.
After Ronald Colliard, relationship manager corporate clients and director at Credit Suisse, welcomed the participants, Jordi Montserrat, managing partner at Venturelab, moderated the pitch session of the six handpicked startups from the Vaud region.
For the pitching startups, the direct contact and discussions with members of the Credit Suisse Investor Club provided critical feedback. “Presenting Flybotix at the Good Morning Startup event was perfect to meet new members of the Credit Suisse Investor Club. Constructive talks and good breakfast,” summarized Samir Bouabdallah, co-founder and CEO of Flybotix.
For investors, the event also provides a unique opportunity to meet entrepreneurs and learn more about their innovations and objectives: “I am once again glad to see that Credit Suisse, in partnership with TOP 100, has proven to be capable of finding the most innovative startups in our region and bringing together investors and opportunity,” explains Daniel Maman, managing director at MS Invest.
Previous invitation-only TOP 100 pitch events have been held—in collaboration with Credit Suisse—in Lausanne, Geneva, Zurich, and St. Gallen. If you are an investor who would like to receive an invitation for an upcoming event,
