Venturelab and TOP 100 presenting partner Credit Suisse hosted an exclusive regional startup pitch event to connect five TOP 100 Startups with investors from the Credit Suisse Investor Club.
The first TOP 100 Satellite Event 2021 featured five TOP 100 Startups: Romandie-based flowbone, Embion, Inergio, Plastogaz, and ClearSpace pitched to Credit Suisse Private Investors Club members to showcase their innovative potential, strengthen networks, and explore business opportunities.

Ronald Colliard and Jordi Monserrat welcomed the investors and entrepreneurs. Ronald is responsible for Hub Startup Suisse Romande and a senior relationship manager corporate clients and director at Credit Suisse; Jordi Montserrat is the managing partner at Venturelab and the TOP 100 pitch session’s moderator. “The partnership between Credit Suisse and TOP 100 allows the best startups to expand their visibility and reach to potential investors. And it also connects the entrepreneurs with experts of Credit Suisse who can help them with multiple financial and legal issues. Providing this network to the TOP 100 Startups is one of the essential value-adds we offer,” explained Montserrat.

“Being ranked among the TOP 100 Swiss Startups is already a privilege, but it also comes with perks: Being able to pitch in front of the Credit Suisse Investor Club was a unique opportunity that allowed us to connect with relevant experts and investors. We look forward to strengthening the relationships in the coming months and continuing to learn from fellow TOP 100 entrepreneurs”, said Luc Piguet, co-founder and CEO of ClearSpace.“The event was well organized, and I had the opportunity to meet and discuss with several very interesting people,” added Felix Bobbink, co-founder and CEO of Plastogaz.

“This event was a great representation of the added value of the Venturelab and Crédit Suisse partnership for the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award. For Embion it was an honor and pleasure presenting alongside fellow Romandie-based Top 100 Swiss startups to a diverse audience of private investors with sustainability interests at heart. We were able to talk face-to-face about our mission of empowering access to next-generation, sustainable nutrition innovation through our platform biomass processing technology. We look forward with anticipation and excitement to what comes next,” summarized Georgios Savoglidis, founder and CEO of Embion.
Credit Suisse and TOP 100 regularly organize invitation-only pitch events across Switzerland. If you are an active startup investor and would like to participate in future events, please contact Stefan Steiner, the co-managing director at Venturelab.
