Positrigo raises CHF 7M to accelerate nuclear brain imaging device production

12.06.2025 16:52 Guillaume Tinsel

Positrigo’s new financing round will boost production and enhance its commercial rollout of its NeuroLF system in the US and Europe. The round is supported by major investors like HealthCap and Navivo, along with returning investors. The NeuroLF system aims to assist in diagnosing brain disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, which currently affects over 55 million people globally, a figure projected to reach 150 million by 2050. Three experienced board members will also join the team to strengthen leadership.

Positrigo, a Swiss company focused on nuclear medical devices for brain imaging, has closed a new financing round of 7 million CHF. This oversubscribed round strengthens its shareholders with lead investor HealthCap and Navivo, alongside existing shareholders and family offices.

The funds will support production and accelerate the commercialization of the NeuroLF system—a groundbreaking brain Positron Emission Tomography (PET) device that has received market clearance in the US and EU.

“We are excited to partner with an established firm like HealthCap, which validates the substantial business opportunity ahead,” said CEO Jannis Fischer. “The NeuroLF system diagnoses brain disorders, particularly Alzheimer’s disease (AD), which makes up about 70% of dementia cases in those over 60. Currently, over 55 million people live with dementia, with projections reaching 150 million AD cases by 2050. This investment will help make brain PET imaging more accessible.”

Max Odlander from HealthCap will join Positrigo’s board to provide support.

Positrigo won Venture Kick final stage in 2018, participated in Venture Leaders Life Sciences 2019,  Venture Leaders China in 2020, Venture Leaders Deeptech in 2021, and was ranked at the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Awards in 2022 and 2023.
