The TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award crowns the most innovative and promising startups of the country. Giving the stage to their outstanding entrepreneurial teams has always been priority when building the program of the invitation-only Award Night. This year, ranked startups have been involved heavily both on and off stage!
On September 7, the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award opened its doors again in the startup space in Schlieren. This year’s edition was facilitated and enriched by the professionalism and tech solutions of several Swiss startups.
Stepping up for physical and mental well-being
Ariella Kaeslin—the successful gymnast who represented Switzerland internationally all the way to the Olympics—shared her experiences behind the scenes of elite sport. Her journey leads all the way to the top, through the struggle with depression, and back to a fulfilled life. Right on stage with her, greenTEG and Nanoleq got to showcase their latest technology with the potential to not only inspire the audience but to facilitate their users to reach their personal best both physically and mentally.
The CORE Body Temperature Monitor is a compact waterproof wearable device. Comfortably worn during sports activities, at work, or all day long, CORE is a unique monitoring solution. The Oxa shirt and bra combine unique fabrics and sensors to optimize vitals signal quality. This “new kind of wearable” makes the activity of our lungs, heart, mental stress, and temperature accessible at the push of a button—and a deep breath.

Serving culinary delights
For the second year, TOP 100 went meat-free and this would not have been possible without the tasty products by Planted and Luya. Both startups are disrupting the industry with their plant-based meat alternatives and have proven to fuel our community yet again.

Bringing the ecosystem together—on and offline
The Swiss startup ecosystem flourishes thanks to its engaged participants. Also this year, international investors, corporate representatives, and ecosystem supporters, as well as outstanding entrepreneurs gathered with us.
While zkipster’s event management software made our participant management and check-in a breeze, Veertly’s platform for hybrid and virtual events doubled our reach in and beyond Switzerland by hosting the Award Night Livestream.

Thank you once more, to everyone—from partners to startups to guests—who made this edition of the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award so memorable.
