This year's Top100 Public Voting 2026 highlighted Switzerland's most promising startup newcomers. All nominated deeptech startups were pre-selected by a jury of 100 leading investors and renowned startup experts.

Through the public vote, three official finalists have now been selected. They will pitch live at the Top100 Swiss Startup Award Night, where the audience will crown the Top100 Newcomer of the Year 2026.

Meet the Official Finalists

1. Dexterous Endoscopes | Medtech | Vaud
One in five people worldwide undergoes a minimally invasive procedure using endoscopes. Rigid devices offer stability and precision but lead to more invasive surgeries and longer recovery times. Soft devices improve visualization and access but lack stability. Dexterous Endoscopes tackles this challenge with variable stiffness endoscopes that reversibly switch between rigid and soft states on command.

2. Bewelab | Foodtech | Fribourg
Bewe transforms metabolic health through neuroscience-based brain retraining. With 538M people living with diabetes and 3.2B overweight, diet-related conditions drive a global crisis. Bewelab’s patented platform, backed by 15 years of research, uses gamified mobile tasks to rewire the brain’s reward system, reducing cravings without willpower.

3. CalicoBiosystems | Biotech | Vaud
Cancer kills 1 in 6 people, yet 95% of drugs fail because legacy artificial models lack human relevance. Calico Biosystems is the only platform testing drugs directly on native patient tumors to reliably predict clinical outcomes. By merging experimental human data with digital modeling (NAMs), the biotech company identifies potent synergies and slashes R&D timelines by 24 months.
