Update TOP 100 Public Voting 2022: Alao, HipHipHub, and Backbone Art are leading the ICT vertical

27.06.2022 10:00 Tracy Woodley

In this week’s TOP 100 Public Voting update, three startups focused on information and communications technology are battling for first place: ICT startups Alao, HipHipHub, and Backbone Art are currently leading in public votes. But the competition has only just begun— With more than a month left in the public voting, anything can happen. From now until July 17, 2022, everyone with a LinkedIn account has one vote to choose the 10 most innovative Swiss startups. Keep the votes coming!

Every year, the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award showcases the 100 most innovative and promising Swiss startups chosen by a 100-strong jury of leading investors and experts. The TOP 100 Public Vote runs parallel to the expert jury ranking and highlights outstanding Swiss startups that will be celebrated on stage at the award night on September 7, 2022.

This year, we will honor one Public Voting winner for each of the 10 verticals (biotech, cleantech, engineering, fintech, foodtech, ICT, medtech, proptech, robotics, and security). To keep up the suspense, we will provide updates for each vertical separately. This week we are highlighting the ICT vertical. ICT, or information and communications technology, refers to the infrastructure and elements that facilitate modern computing. Discover the three Swiss ICT solutions that have received the most TOP 100 votes so far:

  1. Alao: The first fully digital telecom ecosystem, connecting providers, suppliers, and customers to digitize distribution.
  2. HipHipHub: An online marketplace that makes kids' parties easy by matchmaking suppliers with parents.
  3. Backbone Art: Better real estate visuals, faster.
The race is still wide open, so keep spreading the word! Startups can share the link to the startup.ch voting page with friends, family, and followers and encourage everyone in the network to vote for them. Remember, every vote counts!

Even though there is no award for the most creative TOP 100 Public Voting tweet, we are impressed by your ideas! Follow the hashtag #TOP100SSU on Twitter and LinkedIn to stay up to date on the results and see the creativity of the Swiss startups!
